Erin McLynch is a filmmaker from Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. She has earned her Master of Fine Arts degree in Film Production. She also holds a degree in Bachelors of Science in Media Communication and Technology from East Stroudsburg University.

 

Erin specializes primarily in grip and electric roles. She has worked her way to become the go to gaffer and equipment expert for her peers. She has gaffed on short films such as The Bet, A Beautiful Trip, Night Noise, Tinderella, and many others. During these films, Erin has worked as key grip, gaffer, and 1st Assistant Director.

 

On the short film of Tinderella, Erin took the role as Director of Photography. During the filming, she discovered her talent and niche for the grip and electric side of a film set. Since then, she has worked to further advance herself in the trade. Erin does not shy away from a challenge and will do what it takes to make the set be successful, on track and safe.

 

When not exploring her life’s work, she has been seen migrating with geek groups at conventions, comic shops and the online gaming world. She plans to move to Atlanta, Georgia to become a household name in the film industry.
